Today is the biggest day in Monster Hunter Wilds’ brief history since the game’s monumentous launch. Capcom is bringing back its Showcase series to deliver all the remaining information about the game’s first major patch.
We’ve known a few things about Title Update 1 for a while, but today, we’ll get to see the new content in action, and end months of speculation about a few features players have been asking for.
Capcom has been teasing Title Update 1 even before Monster Hunter Wilds came out, so fans knew a few of its biggest additions. Today’s Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase will be streamed live on Twitch (channel embedded below).
The show will be hosted by the legendary Ryozo Tsujimoto. It kicks off at 7am PT, 10am ET, 2pm UK. The biggest news, of course, will be the actual release date, since we’ve known that TU1 will simply arrive sometime in early April.
We’re also likely to get a look at the new monster, Mizutsune, in all his glory in Wilds’ upgraded visuals. The other major addition everyone wants to see is the return of the redesigned Gathering Hub. Wilds’ NPCs are scattered around different camps in different regions, so a single place that lets us interact with all (or most) of them is welcome.
Title Update 1 will also introduce a new monster difficulty, which is very likely to be the more challenging version of Tempered, called Arch Tempered. You can watch the show here, and look up any questions you might have in our massive Monster Hunter Wilds guide in the meantime.
